Role Overview:
The Business Development Executive will support the growth of Augmenter’s smart factory solutions by identifying manufacturing prospects, developing qualified opportunities, conducting solution-led discussions, and coordinating demos and proposals. The role is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in industrial technology sales, Industry 4.0, and manufacturing digitization.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential customers across manufacturing, industrial, and plant-led businesses.
- Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, references, industry research, and events.
- Understand customer pain points related to production visibility, machine data, operational efficiency, monitoring, and shop-floor digitization.
- Present CMMS, Plant OS, and manufacturing digitization solutions in a professional and consultative manner.
- Coordinate with technical / pre-sales teams for product demos, solution fitment, requirement mapping, and technical clarifications.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and responses to client requirements or RFPs.
- Build relationships with plant heads, operations heads, maintenance heads, production teams, and business decision-makers.
- Maintain CRM pipeline, update follow-ups, track opportunity progress, and support monthly / quarterly sales targets.
- Stay updated on IIoT, Industry 4.0, SCADA, PLC, MES, ERP, analytics, and smart manufacturing trends.
- Support smooth client onboarding by coordinating between customer stakeholders and internal implementation teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Any Degree Graduate. MBA in Sales / Marketing will be an added advantage.
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, pre-sales, industrial solutions, IT solutions, or manufacturing-related roles. Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, shop-floor processes, plant systems, or industrial environments is preferred.

Role Overview:
The Business Development Executive will support new business generation for Augmenter’s Machine Tools and Automation Solutions vertical, including bespoke machines, SPMs, visual inspection systems, automated material handling systems, conveyors, IRIS, and related industrial automation offerings. The role requires client engagement, requirement gathering, site visit coordination, and close collaboration with technical and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop business opportunities for machine tools, SPMs, visual inspection systems, conveyors, AMHS, and automation solutions.
- Prospect manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, packaging, and industrial clients through outreach and market research.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to understand operational challenges, layouts, throughput, and automation needs.
- Coordinate with technical teams for solution design, feasibility, costing, and proposal preparation.
- Support techno-commercial discussions, presentations, quotations, and client follow-ups.
- Build relationships with plant, production, maintenance, operations, procurement, and decision-making teams.

A person who wants to build career and has experience in WMS, logistics technology, supply chain software, warehouse automation, SaaS, or industrial solutions, with strong communication skills and ability to sell to manufacturing and logistics customers.

- Identify and qualify business opportunities for Warehouse Management
- Engage with manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, operations, and enterprise teams to understand digitization needs.
- Conduct first-level requirement discovery and map customer challenges to relevant digital solutions.
- Coordinate solution demonstrations, product walkthroughs, and technical discussions with internal teams.
- Prepare and support sales proposals, presentations, solution notes, quotations, and techno-commercial documents.
